Woodland Park Zoo

I was so excited to take the girls to the zoo! I loved this zoo growing up and it was always great! Sadly, I was very disappointed in the zoo this time. Almost ALL the animals could not be seen or were not there?!

However the new penguin enclosure is pretty awesome! And we did see elephants and hippos which was one of the main things I wanted to show the girls! We have been to many zoos and none had any elephants or hippos yet!

Here are some zoo pictures! The girls still had fun, but sure were tired!

Hippos

Walking with Delanie

Elephants!

Rylee's favorite part of the whole zoo! She screamed bloody murder when we had to finally take her off of the orangatans!

Haylee had to have her turn too, notice unhappy Rylee in the background...

I thought this picture was so funny, I had to include it!

At the penguin enclosure, they had a little play area with cave and all.

Imagine Children's Museum

Grandpa Jeff, Uncle Braden and Christopher took the girls to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett and the girls had a blast! Grandma Mary and I were helping set up for the reception and then we met up with everyone at the museum! It was great fun!

this was so great! These levers control the lights/spot lights on the stage. The buttons next to it have sound effects like TADA or clapping, there were a ton!

Introducing RYLEE

Grandpa Jeff was paying for tickets to the show! Haylee was the cashier!

The girls absolutely LOVED this place! When they first got there the worker said "if you wait 15 minutes it is half price!" So they did! Evidently on Thursdays after like 3 or something it is half price! Only $4 ! Totally worth it. If we lived up there it would be worth going 2-3 times a month on those Thursday half price days! We stayed until closing at 5!

At the temple!

The main reason for this whole trip was to go see my cousin get married!
They are so cute!

We attempted taking a family picture...

And again...

Then we tried to just get a picture of Christopher and me.

It turns out that taking pictures at lunch time/nap time isn't such a good idea...who knew? haha

STAY AAAWWWAAAKKKEEE!

This picture just makes me laugh, Hayls and her silly faces.

However before all of the crazy pictures the girls were great! They loved the temple grounds!

 Smelling flowers

I love Rylee's smelling face!

Our trip to Washington

We were able to make a trip to Washington with my parents. We all rode up in their Tahoe, Grandma, Grandpa, Braden, Christopher, Me, Haylee and Rylee.

This is one of the very FEW times I was not in back between the girls carseats. It was much more comfortable when I could sit back against the seat and actually move my legs! The girls did AMAZING in the car! On one of the drives (the 10 hour part) the girls didn't sleep for the first 8 1/2 hours! But they were happy so we didn't mind so much! It was just amazing that they didn't konk out or something!

While in Washington my girls met a bunch of family! They loved all the new friends and cousins but by the end of the week they were FINISHED meeting new people!

We were able to see both sides of my family which was great! We spent a few days at Grandpa Bob's and Aunt Jana's house. They girls thought it was so funny that we had the same name! While there my cousin brought her cute kids over and the kids had a blast!!!

We then went over to the other side of the mountains for my cousins wedding! It was beautiful and so good to see everyone!

We got to stay with my Aunt Katie and we had a blast! Haylee and Rylee loved playing with her kids as well!

We also got to go play at Grandma Susie and Grandpa Daves house!

I'm surprised we don't have more pictures of the girls with Comet...these girls loved him to death (the dog)

The girls also got to go to a childrens museum, the temple for the wedding and to the zoo. These will be in separate posts!

We love daddy!

My girls sure get excited to have daddy around!
Christopher vacuumed the WHOLE living room with both girls helping! He is so nice!

Christopher was mowing Grandma's lawn. EVERY circle he made the girls stood here waving and yelling things like

 "WAVE DADDY"
or "I LOVE YOU DADDY"
or "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME"
or "DO YOU SEE ME DADDY, LOOK I'M WAVING AT YOU! WAVE AT ME DADDY! CAN YOU SEE ME"

...and yes they were YELLING all of this, thinking Christopher could hear them if they just said it a little bit louder! It was soo cute, and loud!
