Trip to PA - Part 1

We were so lucky to be able to take a trip to PA during the few weeks Christopher was off school for break! We hadn't been back for almost 2 years to see his side of the family! We had a blast! Here are some highlights!

Airplane Ride

One of the few times Haylee let us open the window while up in the air. Most of the time she wanted them closed.

The girls did really well on the planes. We had one layover each way and with all 4 planes we only had one 10 minute freak out from Haylee. She was too tired and didn't want to buckle up for landing, so the flight attendant said she could sit on my lap and within a minute of that she was zonked out! Sweet baby! Out of almost 11 hours of flying total (both ways), that is pretty good with two 2 year olds!

We all had so much fun in PA with family! The girls LOVED being able to eat almost every meal outside and always having friends to play with!

Grandma's House

The girls and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play last week!  I needed a break away from home and Christopher had to study for finals. So we packed up and spent about a week at Grandma's house. While there we were able to see Grandpa Bob (my grandpa, their great) and Kristen (my cousin)! So fun! I didn't get any pictures of them though. Sad. We had a blast and the girls LOVED seeing Grandpa! They don't get to see him enough!

One of the days we were there, my dad volunteered to play with the girls while mom and I made dinner. This took a good hour and the girls sure had a blast! They got to play in the wheelbarrow and go to the neighbors and play with the dog! They were in heaven! Outside play AND a dog!

Easter

The girls loved finding toys and candy around the living room! Rylee probably ate 20 chocolate eggs before we realized how quickly she was opening and shoving them in her mouth! Boy did she make a mess haha.

Happy Birthday Rylee!

Happy birthday Rylee! She is growing up too fast! She is 2 now! She is still a little short for her age but still with a large head! Love it!

We did a last minute cake and ice cream thing with whatever family could come. Thankfully Ashlee, Robbie and Lauren were able to make it! We love having them over! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of them while they were here to prove we do have friends! Haha.

Both of the girls grandma's wanted to come so bad that we made that possible. Say hello to Grandma Mary and Grandma Carla. haha the girls loved it!

LOOK! I found a picture with part of Ashlee, Robbie and Lolo! See they were there! Haha. Here is Rylee opening her gifts from them! She absolutely LOVES the ball and she would really like to use her huge chalk. Unfortunately we have been out of town and haven't been able to use it yet.But we are so excited to!

Play Time!

Lately we have been trying to go on walks and play outside a lot while the weather lets us. We also got a soccer ball last month for the girls! They love it. We went to the church grass to kick it around with the girls before bed one day.

I know this picture is blurry but I sure wish it wasn't! Haylee kicked the ball to Christopher and Rylee threw the football at him at the same time. Silly girls!

Playing with the girls outside is SOOOOO fun.... until it's time to come in. Then it is a NIGHTMARE! Let's hope that passes soon!
